Job Description The opportunity Delaware North Sportservice is searching for an Accounting Manager/Controller to join our team at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee a variety of accounting functions, including reporting, consolidating financial results, and performing accounts payable invoice approvals. Pay Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $60,406 - $76,800 / year In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Supervise the accounting team with the administration of internal controls and audit policies, and procedures to ensure compliance Translate accounting strategy into operational goals and objectives, and execute against those strategies and standards Lead by example, coach, and mentor your accounting team, and ensure team members have opportunities to learn and grow Support the annual plan and projection process for your location, provide insightful reviews of year-over-year change, and recommend areas of focus to improve operating margins Collaborate with other teams, functions, and data owners across the company to align on process and data issues and ensure required changes to policies or procedures are implemented More about you Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting or a business-related degree Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including previous supervisory experience; hospitality experience a plus Cash management, inventory control, and auditing experience are a plus Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Expertise in driving continuous improvement and business process management Shift details M-F Who we are Delaware North operates concessions, clubs, and suites for the NHL's Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center and has been a partner of the Sabres since 1970, the year the team was founded.
