They are currently seeking a Senior -Food Engineer to be a technical lead. They are looking for a self-starter that loves science and technology. The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer who loves to learn and is able to embrace their curious side!As a Senior Food Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Design and develop scale manufacturing options
• Run trials and experiments (DOE) to evaluate and identify best equipment for products
• Work cross-functionally to develop prototypes and projects from concept to completion
• Identify, qualify, and manage external contract manufactures to supplement internal capabilities
• Coordinate and lead design engineering and maximize R&D efficiencies
• Provide technical support, risk assessment, and advice to operations
• Travel to industry events and work with universities to identify new technologiesJob Code: 117.22JM#LI-JM3Job RequirementsAs a Senior Food Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
  • BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, Pharmaceuticals, or other relevant science
  • 6+ years of experience - food is ideal, may consider pharmaceuticals, chemicals, bio
  • Scaling up of new product and product improvements experience
  • Experience with design of experiment, trials, and data analysis
