Job Description:
Job Title: Welder/Fabricator Location: Rochester, NY Summary: We
are seeking a Welder Fabricator to join a skilled fabrication team.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for welding and
fabricating metal components for new construction or repair work.
You'll contribute to a collaborative manufacturing environment
while often working independently, ensuring work meets quality and
safety standards. This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity. If
you have experience with MIG/TIG welding, blueprint reading, and
metal fabrication, we encourage you to apply! Shift: 6am-2:30pm
Monday - Friday Pay: $24 - $29 Per hour Core Duties &
Responsibilities: Perform MIG and TIG welding, particularly with
stainless steel and aluminum. Read and interpret blueprints,
welding symbols, and technical drawings. Use hand tools and
fabrication equipment to assemble and repair components. Conduct
in-process quality checks before moving to the next routing step.
Follow established safety standards and enforce departmental safety
policies. Cross-train in other work centers as needed. Maintain a
clean, safe, and organized work environment. Work overtime as
required to meet production goals. Qualifications: Prior experience
in welding and fabrication preferred. Proficient in TIG/MIG welding
processes. Familiarity with stainless steel and aluminum materials
is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and understand technical
specifications. Skilled with fabrication tools and measuring
equipment. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
Basic math skills. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best
practices. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or sit for
prolonged periods. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Reasonable
