Job Description Job Description The Operator 3, CNC is
responsible for independently operating and optimizing CNC
machinery to achieve high productivity, precision, and consistent
product quality. This role involves advanced troubleshooting,
setup, and programming to address complex machine issues, improve
performance, and meet strict quality standards. The Operator also
plays a key role in driving continuous process improvements,
ensuring smooth operations, and mentoring junior operators Job
Details Position Type: Hourly, Full-Time (Non-Exempt) Shift: First
shift, 7:00am – 3:00pm Pay Range: $23.00/hour (depending on skills
and experience) Work Location: Onsite - Saegertown, Pennsylvania
16433 Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor assigned CNC
machinery with a focus on optimizing efficiency, precision, and
overall machine performance to meet production goals. Perform
advanced quality control inspections, ensuring that all products
meet or exceed specifications while identifying opportunities for
process improvement. Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex
mechanical issues with CNC equipment, making adjustments as needed
to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. Read, interpret,
and analyze complex blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring
that setups and machining are performed accurately and to exact
specifications. Use advanced measuring instruments (e.g., digital
micrometers, height gauges, laser measuring systems) to verify
dimensions and ensure that parts meet strict tolerances and quality
standards. Assist with machine setup, programming, and calibration,
ensuring smooth transitions between jobs and maximizing machine
uptime. Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines to keep
equipment in optimal working condition and extend its lifespan.
Document inspection results, adjustments, and maintenance
activities, ensuring accurate records are maintained for quality
control and process improvements. Perform all other duties as
assigned. Skills/Competencies Ability to follow detailed verbal and
written instructions. Required Qualifications High school diploma
or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing
or industrial environment. Demonstrated work history with steady
employment and minimal gaps. Proven reliability and punctuality to
support production schedules. Physical Requirements Must be able to
lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Required to stand for extended
periods. Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
Frequent bending and stooping required. Must be able to work in
