Job Description Job Description Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an Principal Electrical Engineer for our Saratoga Springs and Buffalo New York offices . The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of electrical power, lighting, and motor control system design and analysis for water, wastewater, reuse, and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Integrating with design team from initial studies and conceptual design through construction of substation, generators, pump stations, and/or treatment facilities. Field investigations and site visits from design through construction. Electrical systems design and analysis. Required Qualifications: 5 – 15 years’ experience Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology (MS or MEng Preferred) Professional Engineering license in NY Self-starter with attention to detail Candidate must possess excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must be proficient in all computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). BIM/CADD and other software (ETAP, SKM, etc.) skills are a plus.
