Job Description:
Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and
production, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team.
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance
Department supporting production and engineering teams. The ideal
candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail,
and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the
organization. Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Location: Geneva, NY
Pay Range: $52000 - $82000 Shift: 3rd Shift What's the Job?
Diagnose, repair, and maintain all packaging and support equipment
to optimize efficiency and quality. Conduct line changeovers and
make necessary set-up and adjustments as required by the production
schedule. Perform line alterations and rebuilds as necessary to
ensure smooth operations. Utilize data from CMMS and MES systems to
analyze and resolve routine and complex electrical and mechanical
issues. Assist manufacturing personnel with process-related
problems and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
What's Needed? Ability to diagnose, repair, changeover, and
maintain packaging and support equipment effectively. Experience
with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
mechanical/electrical issues. Strong problem-solving skills and
attention to detail. Willingness to operate forklift trucks and
assist with equipment installation and fabrication. Ability to work
collaboratively with team members and adapt to changing priorities.
