Description: Custom Engineering Co. is a premier single source
supplier specializing in the manufacturing of large-scale metal
fabrications. We are currently seeking 1st and 2nd shift Full-time
Machine Operator with experience in the steel industry to join our
team at our Erie, PA location. The position offers an hourly rate
of up to $22.00 BOE ($2.00 2nd shift differential) and the benefits

MACHINE OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES: (Included, but not limited to) *
Set up and remove work pieces from a machine per procedure *
Proficiently use measuring instruments such as calipers,
micrometers, dial indicators and gauges to ensure conformance of
specified tolerances * Ability to perform in-process inspections at
a machine and adjust various offsets to ensure conformance of
workpieces as required * Position and secure workpieces on machines
using measuring instruments, holding devices, hand tools, and
cranes * Study blueprints, lay outs, sketches, and work orders to
determine tolerances and work procedures * Ability to recognize
tooling types facemill, drill, taps, etc. Requirements: * Knowledge
of addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals and calculate tooling
speeds/feeds * Prior machining experience * Knowledge in general
machining practices * Crane and forklift experience * Ability to
read and understand documents and blueprints * Ability to use hand
tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, tape measure, etc.)
* Ability to lift 50 pounds to insert tooling, materials, and use
lifting devices Compensation details: 17-20 Hourly Wage
