Job Description:
ROLE SUMMARY: The Human Resources Manager will manage all HR
functions at the site. This role partners closely with site leaders
as well as other HR team members within the organization to develop
and implement HR solutions that directly support the growth of the
business. This role requires a high level of HR functional
expertise and a deep understanding of manufacturing environments.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide HR business partner support to the
manufacturing site. Partner with Plant Manager and site leadership
team to drive site improvement using HR strategies and implement HR
initiatives aligned with the overall business needs. Manage
employee relations issues, investigations and employee questions
including benefits and payroll. Coordinate, review and approve
weekly payroll activities. Own talent management activities at the
site, which includes performance management, compensation, career
development, employee engagement, development, succession planning
and talent acquisition. Actively participate in the staffing
process by engaging with our recruiting partners, interviewing
candidates and being part of candidate selection. Identify
meaningful HR performance metrics for your sites and provide
consistent updates to site and HR leaders. Lead and participate in
company-wide HR projects and initiatives with the intent to share
best practices across all sites. Partner with external providers to
manage all workers comp claims and personal leave of absences
Knowledge, understanding, compliance, and enforcement of all
applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations relating
to job duties. Support the safety program ensuring active
participation and engagement in safety culture. Up to 10% travel
required, including overnight and/or international travel as
needed. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in
Human Resources or related field. 3+ years of progressive
experience as an HR generalist or HR business partner. 2+ years of
experience supporting a manufacturing client group. Experience
using Microsoft Office Experience working with ADP Workforce Now
and ADP Recruiting Management is preferred
