Job Description:
Worldwide Travel Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a
consulting engagement at a University affiliated, nationally
renowned, research oncology inpatient hospital in Buffalo, New
York. Opportunities exist on the inpatient and outpatient oncology
and hematology hospital units and outpatient clinics. Duties
include family counseling, patient education, assessments,
referrals, and working as a community referral liaison. Hospital
rounds on medical and surgical oncology units will be included in
the work routine. Monday through Friday schedules, working eight or
ten-hour day shifts are offered. Weekend and on-call shifts are NOT
required. A minimum commitment of three months is required.
Continued engagement sessions are routinely offered based upon
mutual satisfaction and preference. Oncology experience is
desirable, but NOT required. A kind and compassionate demeanor is
