Nursing Supervisor at Rochester Regional Health summary: As a
Nursing Supervisor at Clifton Springs Nursing Home, I oversee
nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality care for
residents. I work collaboratively with the nurse manager and other
clinical staff to develop care plans and achieve operational goals,
while also acting as a clinical resource for problem-solving and
staff development. My role includes facilitating emergency medical
assessments, ensuring compliance with quality assurance programs,
and providing exceptional customer service. Job Title: Nursing
Shift Supervisor Department: Long Term Care Location: Clifton
Springs Nursing Home Hours Per Week: 0 Schedule: Per Diem (D/E/N)
SUMMARY: Provides oversight of RN/ LPN/CNA and secretarial staff in
the performance of daily duties. Assists in problems solving to
help alleviate clinical issues and processes on the assigned unit.
Act as the clinical resource person, working as a team with the
nurse manager, staff and the provider to identify the plan of care
for each patient. Supports nurse manager in developing work plans
that enable the unit to reach financial/quality/safety/operational
targets. Provide superior customer service by modeling the Brand
Promise and Core Values. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Oversees & assures
short & long term Nursing Dept. staff schedules per established
guidelines. - Facilitates units in emergency medical assessment &
care of residents including interventions, transportation & other
resources needed. - Serves as a clinical resource person to staff
in problem solving, assessments, special procedures & clinical
skill enhancements. - Coordinates with the Nursing Staff resident
units & admissions dept. the rapid admission of residents including
obtaining evaluations as indicated. - Serves as adjunct to staff
development coordinator in promoting planned in-services to nursing
staff as per master schedule/plan. - Provides continuity of
resident status with hospital supervisory staff, and Nursing
Administration. - Supervises the M.D.R. directing, interacting with
residents, families and staff in providing safe, pleasant mealtime
and assuring appropriate completion of required records. - Serves
as major facilitator in QA program for Nursing Dept. including
completion of assessments of designated audits & resultant actions
required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Graduate of an accredited
registered nurse program - One to three years of nursing experience
required. - Registered in NYS as a registered nurse professional. .
Basic Life Support (BLS) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's
degree preferred. - LT PAC nursing experience preferred. - One year
of supervisory experience preferred. EDUCATION: LICENSES /
CERTIFICATIONS: - BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart
Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education
Department (NYSED) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work -
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25
pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10
pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent
walking, standing or squatting. For disease specific care programs
refer to the program specific requirements of the department for
further specifications on experience and educational expectations,
including continuing education requirements. Any physical

RANGE: $34.50 - $48.00 CITY: Clifton Springs POSTAL CODE: 14432 The
listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current
potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be
modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant
qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and
