Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Step-Down RN for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Rochester, NY. Job Function: /n - Day Shift - Evening Shift - Night Shift. /n - 3x12. /n - Delivers patient care using the nursing process grounded in theory, research, and evidence-based practice. /n /n - Assesses and evaluates patient care needs, applying critical thinking in care planning and management. /n /n - Integrates assessment and intervention skills effectively in delivering nursing care. /n /n - Prioritizes patient care tasks including teaching, rounding, discharge planning, and appropriate delegation. /n /n - Educates patients and caregivers on care plans, transitions, health promotion, and disease prevention. /n /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. /n /n - Current RN license in the state of New York. /n /n - 2 years of acute ICU/CCU Stepdown RN experience required; ICU/CCU background highly preferred but not mandatory. /n /n - BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association. /n /n - Telemetry experience required. /n /n - EPIC experience is highly desired. /n /n - Experience with Swanz-Ganz catheters is preferred. /n /n /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
