qualified Home Health RN in Niagara Falls, New York, 14304! Pay
Information $2,410 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse I Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 -
17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience
or 1 full year Hospice experience, depending on the specialty.
License: Must have a current nursing license in hand.
Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: - Proficiency in HomeCare
HomeBase (HCHB) and Oasis. - Cannot currently be a direct employee
of any related location. - Must be open to traveling up to 75 miles
from the assigned care center. - Must have a vehicle, driver’s
license, and auto insurance. - Acceptance of patients on the
schedule regardless of distance between appointments. - Completion
of all documentation within 24 hours of patient appointments. -
Awareness that there are no guaranteed hours with the contract.
Description: The Registered Nurse in Home Health coordinates and
directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's
orders. This is based on agency policies and procedures through the
competent application of the nursing process. Responsible to the
Clinical Manager. Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health
Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses.
Home visits are required, along with participation in periodic
office meetings. Must have reliable transportation and current
driver’s license. Agency-required liability insurance is mandatory.
Expected to manage an average of 5 to 10 patients a day, equating
to roughly 6 to 8 points. The weekly productivity point expectation
is 30 points. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and
Follow-up Visits. Candidates must confirm their comfort with
driving distances which may exceed 20 minutes between patients.
Required to accept every patient on their schedule, and
documentation must be timely to avoid delays in billing and patient
care follow-up. Failure to meet productivity expectations may lead
to contract cancellation. Must be open to rotating on-call duties,
