Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an
Critical Care Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at
Prestigious Hospital in Niagara Falls, NY. /n /n /n /n Job
Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 3x12. /n - Recognizes aspects and
implications of patient status that vary from normal and reports to
or collaborates with appropriate health team members for input. /n
- Will work with acute/chronic patients, inpatients and
outpatients. /n - Assesses daily assigned patient care needs and
collaborates with direct and ancillary patient care staff as
needed. /n - Directs and provides, in collaboration with direct and
ancillary patient care staff, all aspects of the daily provision of
safe and effective delivery of chronic hemodialysis therapy to
assigned patients. /n - Administers medications as prescribed or in
accordance with approved algorithm(s), and documents appropriate
medical justification and effectiveness. /n - Assesses,
collaborates, and documents patient/family’s basic learning needs
to provide initial and ongoing education to patients and family. /n
/n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate from an accredited School of
Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n - Current, valid
RN license for the state of which you are working in. /n - 1 years
of inpatient/ acute MS/TELE RN experience is required. /n - BLS and
ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are
required. /n - Cerner EMR experience is highly preferred. /n /n
