LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Radiology for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology - Discipline: RN - Duration: 17 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days, nights, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Job Duties: This is a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED), a state-of-the-art facility that manages more than 100,000 visits a year and is one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. It is the only Level I trauma hospital in the area. Responsible for treating a diverse patient population. Will assist with boarder patients. ER is not able to support first time travelers. Job Requirements: - RN License (NY License ONLY) - Two (2) Years ED experience - Telemetry Experience Required - Must have previous travel ER experience Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY) -NIHSS (Preferred) This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 Trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post procedural recover and overnight observation care. Experience with GI post procedural care is preferred but not required. Exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging. We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRI’s, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray and ultrasound. Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience preferred. RN responsible for pre/post and 23hr care for IR patients. Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure. BLS an dACLS required.
