Tele RN in Rochester, New York, 14626! Job Title: Registered Nurse
– Med Surg/Telemetry (Night Shift, 4x12s) Facility: Unity Hospital
– Rochester Regional Health System, NY Start Date: 11/10/2025
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (4x12-Hour Shifts)
Float Requirement: Yes – may float to ED boarders, ICU (stable),
Med-Surg, and Acute Brain Injury units Charting: Epic
(Preferred/Required) Job Description / Summary The
Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care to
adult and geriatric patients with acute medical, cardiac, and
post-surgical conditions. The RN will assess, plan, and implement
patient care using evidence-based practices while ensuring patient
safety and quality outcomes in a fast-paced, team-oriented
environment. Requirements Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent
Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience Certifications: BLS (Required);
ACLS preferred Charting System: Epic (Required) Education: ASN or
BSN in Nursing License: Active NY State RN license (in hand prior
to submission) Other: Must be able to float between similar units;
no local candidates within 75 miles Patient & Unit Details Unit:
2700 MS/Tele – 22 Beds Typical Ratios: Day/Evening: 5:1 (stretch
6–7:1) Nights: 6–7:1 (stretch 8–9:1) Common Diagnoses: Cardiac,
pulmonary, pain management, GI issues, infections, unmanaged
diabetes Equipment: Telemetry monitors, bladder scanners, EKG
machines, Lifepaks Support Services: IV team, phlebotomy,
respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, social work 5 Benefits of
