Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, flexible Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse ICU - Days 3 12-Hour Shifts E/O Weekend Job Description This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse in the ICU. The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care in a healthcare setting, effectively communicating changes in patient conditions and updates in care. The nurse will perform general nursing duties in assigned departments with adequate supervision. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and reassessments on all patients. Adequately assess and manage pain using appropriate techniques. Revise and evaluate plans of care based on patient responses to treatment. Conduct waived testing and interpret results according to relevant policies. Administer medications accurately following the six medication rights. Formulate and evaluate teaching plans based on patient and family needs. Assist physicians with procedures and provide technical support as needed. Identify and address psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and support interdisciplinary approaches. Maintain documentation according to organizational standards. Operate and manage medical equipment safely and effectively. Support a culture of safety and quality in patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current NYS Registered Nurse Licensure. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Completion of Nurse Residency Program is mandatory for RN's with less than one year of experience. Schedule 3 12-hour shifts, every other weekend. Why ARMStaffing?
