Pulmonology opening in Olean, NY - Sleep Medicine Desired not
necessary Seeking a caring and enthusiastic BC/BE Pulmonary
Physician for an office-based practice at a physician-owned
multi-specialty group. This group was established in 1948 and its
main facilities border a 186-bed hospital. Excellent referral base
within the group of 39 providers and also from the community
providers, this position offers a pulmonary practice with an option
for Sleep Medicine if desired but not necessary. Medical Group
patients are seen Mondays through Fridays, 8 am until 5 pm.
Position Benefits - Partnership track, eligible after one year. -
competitive base salary, - full benefits plus a very good pension
plan, - call/consults limited to 10 days each month (one weekend),
- 3 weeks vacation initially, - with one week of CME plus a
stipend, - relocation expenses, - sign/start bonus, and - ability
to sponsor a J1 waiver.Join our thriving practice which serves an
area of almost 125,000 in western New York State and northwestern
Pennsylvania. This is a collegial and supportive environment with a
dedicated staff of 190. Community Details Centrally located to
Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Buffalo, Toronto, and the Finger Lakes all
within a 1 to 3 hour drive, this community of about 35,000 is
family-oriented with a plethora of year-round activities for all
ages. Although we are located 65 miles south of Buffalo, we do not
get the snowfall that Buffalo, nor the rest of the State, gets. We
can, however, boast proximity to one of the best ski/golf resorts
in the Northeast, the Chautauqua Institution, and the Corning
Museum of Glass. Professional sports teams and wonderful
off-Broadway productions are all within a 1 1/2 hour drive from
Olean. Were home to St. Bonaventure University and Jamestown
Community College, Cutco, Dresser Rand, and several smaller
