Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,056 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – New York Start Date: February 16, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required; day/evening ratios 5:1 (stretch to 6-7), night ratios 6-7:1 (stretch to 8-10); call as needed Highlights: Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with 20-bed capacity treating acute respiratory failure, CHF, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, sepsis, and pulmonary disorders Comprehensive skill set including dysrhythmia management, cardiac drip management (Amiodarone), ventilator care, tracheostomy management, and wound vac experience Robust interdisciplinary support including in-house phlebotomy, IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, physical therapy, and pharmacy Epic EMR system with 4-hour orientation plus hands-on unit training Patient care technicians assist with vital signs, glucose checks, EKGs, and activities of daily living Advanced respiratory support experience with BIPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, chronic ventilators, and chest tube management Requirements: Active New York RN license (must be in hand prior to submission) Current BLS certification required; MS/Telemetry certification required PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience strongly preferred Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience Epic charting experience is required Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insulin and heparin protocols, central/PICC line management, blood product administration, wound care, and ventilated patient care Must reside at least 75 miles from facility location Willingness to float within scope of practice Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work with a diverse patient population requiring advanced respiratory and cardiac monitoring in a well-supported clinical environment.
