Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,914 per week Shift Information: 4 days Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 3/3/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Rochester, New York, 14621! Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse Emergency Department – Rochester, New York Start Date: March 3, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 8-week contract, every other weekend required Highlights: Work in a state-of-the-art, 24/7 emergency department at a 528-bed Magnet-recognized teaching facility Patient ratio of 1:5 caring for adult and geriatric emergency patients with diverse acuity levels EPIC charting system with 24 hours of paid orientation Gain experience with advanced emergency procedures including trauma care, stroke management, and critical interventions Access to comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, and respiratory services Opportunities to work with cutting-edge equipment including rapid infusers and specialized patient handling technology Requirements: Active New York Single State RN license (must be in hand prior to submission; pending licenses not accepted) Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Demonstrated EPIC charting experience is mandatory Proficiency in IV therapy including blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, and IV vasopressor management Experience with CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management Clinical competency in stroke care, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury Skilled in cardiac monitoring with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Emergency care experience with adult/pediatric patients, trauma, and gunshot wounds Knowledge of isolation precautions and triage protocols Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility Willingness to float within skillset as needed Availability to work every other holiday if needed Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center with a centralized layout designed for rapid patient care, a dedicated pediatric ED, and a trauma suite positioned for immediate critical patient stabilization.
