Registered Nurse (RN) | Electrophysiology Lab Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,528 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified EP Lab RN in Rochester, New York, 14642! Job Title: Electrophysiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License (New York only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: - Proficient in moderate sedation - Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and other in-room staff - Coordination with charge nurse and third-party vendors Description: The Electrophysiology Registered Nurse performs diagnostic electrophysiology procedures and interventions in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures and ensuring all equipment is functional. The nurse monitors read-outs or recordings during procedures. Assists with lab analysis and interpretations, reporting any issues to the physician. Participation in pacing implementation and installation of permanent cardiac devices is required. The role includes assisting in room turnover and ensuring timely patient care. The Electrophysiology Registered Nurse assists at the sterile field, prepping patients and equipment for studies and ablations. They maintain fluids for the ablation catheter and provide support during procedures. Documentation is conducted primarily using the Epic system. Experience with cardiac implant or structural heart scrub is preferred but not required.
