Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work rotating day, evening, and night shifts as assigned • Holiday coverage required • On-call responsibilities and callback shifts as needed • Weekend coverage as needed • Care for medical/surgical boarder patients within the Emergency Department • Maintain 1:5 patient ratio with assistive personnel support • Treat diverse patient population with wide variety of diagnoses • No Emergency Department experience required • 2 years of medical/surgical experience required • Telemetry experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • New York State RN license required Facility: This healthcare facility features a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department that manages more than 100,000 visits annually and operates as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country.
