ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel MS/Tele Nurse Position Location New York, NY Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00). Job Description We are seeking an experienced MS/Tele nurse to provide high-quality care for patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting. The nurse will be expected to manage a patient ratio of 6-7 to 1 during night shifts, which may stretch up to 8-10 if there are staffing challenges. The role includes collaboration with patient care technicians and an in-house phlebotomy team to ensure efficient patient management. Responsibilities - Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias. - Manage dysrhythmias and utilize Rapid Response Teams as needed. - Provide care and management for patients with conditions such as acute respiratory failure, CHF, and pneumonia. - Perform necessary procedures involving BIPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen management. - Ensure proper application of isolation precautions and PPE. - Document patient care and assessments using the Epic charting system. - Float between like units as required by the facility. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an MS/Tele setting. - Current BLS certification required. - New York state nursing license required at the time of submission. - Experience with Epic charting is a must.
