Job Title: Level 2 RN - Neuromusculoskeletal Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neurology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: RN License (New York only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) required Must-Have: Telemetry experience required Description: An exciting opportunity awaits as you start your career on a specialized neurological unit. This is an excellent unit to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. Work with our interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, and more. Being a Joint Commission accredited comprehensive stroke center and the only Level 4 epilepsy monitor unit in the region, we see many acute and complex patients. As a Level 4 epilepsy monitoring unit, we work with a specialty team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that values nurses' skills, talents, and compassion for our patient population.
