Job Details - Location: Rochester, NY 14642 (Rochester, New York travel nursing job) - Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center – Diagnostic Imaging / Interventional Radiology - Contract Length: 13 weeks (Travel Nurse) - Start Date: March 16, 2026 - End Date: June 13, 2026 - Shifts: Blocked weeknights, no weekends, no call - Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days - Shift Options: Night shifts: 4x12hr (48 hrs: 7pm – 7am) or 40 hrs/wk (9pm – 7am) - Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel RN / Travel Nurse) - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110–$2,220/week Required Qualifications (IR RN / Travel RN) - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York (required) - Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience; telemetry experience required - BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only) - Previous Interventional Radiology (IR) experience is not required — on-site IR training provided Key Responsibilities - Provide pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery care for interventional radiology patients (IR RN duties) - Deliver overnight observation care for patients boarding pre- or post-procedure - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment - Care for patients undergoing CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, X-ray, and ultrasound imaging - Use strong communication, critical thinking, and documentation skills to maintain safety and quality - Support care for both inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan - Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain accurate electronic and paper charting This Rochester travel nursing opportunity is ideal for RNs seeking growth in interventional radiology, diagnostic imaging, and trauma center experience.
