ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/07/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • 13-week contract assignment • Every other weekend requirement • Must maintain 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for Med Surg patients • Floating to other units required • Must have 1 year of nursing experience • New York license must be in hand - no exceptions • Epic charting experience is a hard requirement • BLS certification required • Must live more than 75 miles from facility (no locals accepted) • Dress code requires any combination of navy and white scrubs • Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours) • Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency response including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias • Use Rapid Response/Code teams as needed • Provide IV therapy and peripheral line care/management • Manage respiratory care including nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, and portable oxygen tanks • Handle non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions Facility: This tertiary care hospital is a comprehensive medical facility with 528 staffed beds, providing advanced medical services and specialized care to the community.
