Job Title: Level II Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Rotating Shifts (Days/Eves/Nights) Hours per Shift: 12.0 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: RN License (New York) Certifications: BLS Certification (American Heart Association) Must-Have: Telemetry Experience Description: The Level II Registered Nurse is accountable for the provision of competent care based on established standards under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This role includes expanded responsibilities, which may involve charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member duties. The unit cares for a variety of surgical patients, including thoracic, foregut, and plastic surgery patients, as well as burn patients. There are step-down beds available for post-operative patients requiring more frequent monitoring. The unit specializes in the management and care of patients with pulmonary hypertension.
