Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy,
active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This temporary contract
position is for an Onsite Physical Therapist providing services
during the Extended School Year (ESY) program from July 1, 2026, to
August 14, 2026. The role supports students from kindergarten
through age 22 within a school setting in Fairport, NY. The
schedule consists of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday from
7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Key responsibilities include: - Delivering physical therapy
services to students in compliance with individual education plans
(IEPs) - Collaborating with educators, parents, and other
healthcare professionals to support student progress - Documenting
treatment plans and maintaining accurate records - Participating in
team meetings and contributing to the development of intervention
strategies Qualifications and experience: - Valid New York State
Physical Therapist license (mandatory for consideration) -
Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings -
Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to develop
and implement individualized treatment plans Benefits of this
