working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Rochester,
New York, 14621! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 Description: The
position requires a registered nurse with experience in a critical
care step-down unit. Candidates must possess a valid New York
nursing license without exceptions. This role involves working
three 12-hour night shifts per week. The patient population
consists of adult, acute care patients requiring more specialized
care than a general medical-surgical unit. Responsibilities include
continuous pulse-oximetry and telemetry monitoring of patients.
Nurses will care for patients needing airway management, acute
BIPAP support, arterial lines, central lines, and titrated
medicated IV infusions. The unit adapts quickly to the changing
needs of patients and provides compassionate care using a
multi-disciplinary approach. The daily census for the unit averages
around 17 patients. All nursing staff must be knowledgeable in
isolation precautions and manage various respiratory devices and
therapies. Telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience are
essential for interpreting and managing dysrhythmias. The team
collaborates with various interdisciplinary support services to
