Job Title: Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Duration: 13-week contract Shift:
Day shift, usually four 10-hour shifts with potential for on-call
Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years of Cardiovascular OR
experience License: Valid nursing license Certifications: AHA BLS &
ACLS certifications required Must-Have: Experience with Moderate
Sedation, Infusion pumps, ultrasound machines, Laparoscopic
equipment, da Vinci Robot, Rosa Robot, Monarch Robot, SCDs, Bair
Hugger, Microscopes, Neptune, and smoke evacuators. Description:
The role requires working weekends once a month. Consecutive shifts
are not guaranteed. Shift hours and on-call responsibilities will
be discussed during the facility interview. Expected to work every
other holiday. The facility can call off up to 3 shifts for the
13-week contract and up to 2 shifts for contracts shorter than 13
weeks. It is expected to work every other weekend. Eight hours of
non-billable orientation is required.
