POSITION SUMMARY: This role will have you reporting to the Quality
Supervisor. The successful candidate will verify that product
quality is maintained, quality systems are followed, provide high
quality product to the required specification in accordance with
the production schedule. Provide encourage effective communication
within the cell and promote Assembly Technicians. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· Inspection of production processes in manufacturing of assemblies
and sub-assemblies. · Read blueprints and use a variety of testing
and measuring instruments. · Prepare written reports of all defects
and submit to the production supervisors in a timely manner. ·
Complete knowledge of the specifications and customer requirements.
· Assist with any problems or difficulties which may arise from
specification, drawings, and customer requirements. · Work directly
with customers’ inspection personnel in a courteous manner. ·
Perform all inspections on the coach and ensure inspection reports
are complete. · Perform the release process and sale of coach. ·
Ensure that ISO 9001 Quality Assurance procedures are followed. ·
Follow up with vendors on non-conformance issues and audit
completion, this is to include first article inspections. · Follows
quality issues from identification through corrective action and
follow up auditing. · Full knowledge of assembly products and can
inspect to them as required. · Full knowledge and execution of
rejects. · Perform receiving inspections and warehouse audits. ·
Perform all functions of SQA dealing with SCA reports, product
review, auditing, corrective action, follow up. · Complete special
assignments as required. · Complete work cell items and containment
actions in a timely manner as they occur. · Must be able to train
other Technicians in QA processes. · Must Maintain the 5S
requirements as they apply to your job. Requirements · Three to
Five years previous Quality experience in a fast-paced
manufacturing environment preferred. · Lean Manufacturing
experience · Thorough knowledge of ISO Certification process ·
Superior interpersonal, problem solving and communicating skills. ·
Superior Auto CAD, Microsoft Office computer and organizational
skills. · Demonstrated ability to mentor others, and ability to
work well under pressure. · Goal orientated and motivation to
achieve tasks within set timelines. Hourly Pay Rate: $21.75/hr
