Pinnacle Community Services is a multi-service agency which enriches the community through providing inter-related services for the benefit of adults, children and families.

Position Responsibilities

Coordinates development and communications activities for organization and serves as part of the Executive Leadership Team. Develops, implements and regularly monitors a Fundraising Plan to track fundraising goals. Engages donors through verbal and written communications, personal meetings and events. Identifies and cultivates relationships to secure corporate and foundation support. Assists in searching out potential grants, both public and private and facilitates in grant process including writing grants when appropriate. Develops and conducts Agency Annual Drive. Promotes the Agency Endowment to potential donors. Assists in compliance with on-line grant management. Creates and implements Agency Communications Plan to promote the Agency mission and provide consistent branding. Develops and coordinates agency communication through email, social media, website, press contacts, speaking engagements and other platforms.

Coordinates the development of agency and program marketing materials. Organizes Annual Gala and Awards Event, and produces Annual Report. Functions as Agency spokesperson, along with CEO, in media communications. Reports directly to and participates constructively in supervision with CEO. Serves on the Senior Management and Executive Leadership Teams.

Education and/or Experience

Minimum of four (4) years of experience in fundraising, print and promotional materials, communications and grant writing, including two (2) years of experience at Senior Management level.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Microsoft Windows Applications. Desktop Publishing skills from design to production (Adobe Suites a plus). Computer proficient in use of database programs. Strong engagement skills with multiple constituencies. Website content management (Wordpress).


The primary office location for this position is located at 1522 Main St., Niagara Falls, NY 14305.


This is a full-time position with benefits. The salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $75,000. In addition, Pinnacle Community Services, provides great benefits including paid time off, health insurance, and matching 401k.
