Job Description:
Adecco is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Coordinator
in the Niagara Falls, NY area. This is a fantastic opportunity to
join an established yet growing custom injection molding
manufacturer. A qualified candidate will have experience in a union
facility and be responsible for maintaining the phone system and
front desk presence, in addition to HR related tasks. Pay starts at
$19 and increases based on experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with interviewing of applicants, new hire onboarding and
orientation process
- Help maintain employee flies and records in electronic form by
recording the hiring, transfer, termination, change in job
classifications, and merit increase dates
- Backup to payroll using Paylocity system
- Provide orientation for new employees by presenting information
packets, reviewing company policies, gathering withholding and
other payroll information, explaining benefit programs, and
obtaining signatures for documents
- Maintain human resources records for employees by recording the
hiring, transfer, termination, change in job classifications, and
merit increase dates
- Assist in administering employee benefit programs
- Document and track human resources actions by completing forms,
reports, logs, and records
- Schedule and/or assist with conducting various trainings
- Coordinate and assist with company events and team member
training
- Answers, screens, directs, and provides support for incoming
calls
- Greet and welcome guests and directs them to the appropriate
person
- Clerical duties, including faxing, scanning, postage machine
use, multiple system data entry
- Maintain list in front office area for supplies needed and
works with Lead Buyer to order
- Ensure office and kitchen areas are presentable with all
necessary supplies
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates Degree in Human Resources or relevant work
experience preferred
- Prior experience working in a union environment preferred
- Minimum of two years' experience utilizing ADP, Paylocity,
Paychex, Paycom or other HRIS/payroll technology
- Exceptional Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint
- Good communication skills both written and verbally
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a
professional manner
- Strong decision-making skills
- Must be able to multi-task, and handle multiple projects
