Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today's growing technology?VishayThin Film in Niagara Falls, NY is seeking an Assembler (3rd shift). An ideal candidate should be able to follow the established manufacturing specifications, performs visual and electrical inspection on surface mount parts.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write in order to read production documents and accurately record required information.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using a learned method or a calculator.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail in order to handle repetitive type work in the manufacture of small, close tolerance parts.
• Ability to understand verbal instructions in order to take work directions and accurately manufacture products.
• Training provided Responsibilities:
  • Set up multi meters with proper nominals and tolerances as stated on the traveler, manually and with computerized software.
  • Read and interpret the instructions on the traveler and customer specifications to process the order.
  • Using a microscope, visually inspect parts per the traveler for the correct dimensional and visual criteria.
  • Complete the traveler and Dynamics electronic log.
  • Package parts per the traveler instruction or forward parts to other departments for different package and procedures or further testing. Benefits:
