The Intern will be required to work full-time, 20-40 hours per week for a 1-year duration. As a Procurement intern, you will work within our Indirect Procurement teams based in Buffalo, NY, including but not limited to: Category Management, Procurement Project Management and Strategic Sourcing on Indirect sides of Procurement, as well as performing a variety of administrative functions and tasks in assisting the direct Procurement manager.From your EXPERTISE to oursKey responsibilities for this position include: --Support the Indirect North American sourcing team.Assisting on market analysis, sourcing initiativesAssisting on a variety of business projects requiring research, cost analyses, and engagement of internal/external stakeholdersAssisting in negotiating supplier pricingAssisting in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process: Supplier Pre-Selection, Evaluating Supplier Bids, Awarding SupplierMaintaining top level Supplier relationship managementUpload and maintain the Procurement SharePoint database.Update and manage supplier & category spend trackers.RequirementsFrom your STORY to oursQualified applicants will contribute the following:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
