Volt is immediately hiring for a Buyer in Erie, PA.

As a Buyer, you will:
Manage inventory levels for assigned items.
Decide what to do with excess or outdated materials.
Shift parts to Kanban systems where appropriate.
Act as the main contact between suppliers and the factory.
Resolve issues with defective or delayed materials.
Keep systems updated with purchasing tasks.


This is a full-time, contract opportunity. Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm


The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or technical Master's is a plus.
At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Knowledge of lean principles; green/black belt is a plus.


Pay rate: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
