Business Process AnalysisGDIT is seeking Business Process Analysts
to support a US Air Force program that is playing a major role in
strengthening and modernizing America's Strategic Deterrent Force.
GDIT will develop and deliver a digital engineering design solution
which enables and integrates the programs complete set of data,
tools, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities, and
makes them available to internal and appropriate external
engineering and programmatic stakeholders throughout the programs
lifecycle. This effort will culminate in an abstracted, highly
transportable Digital Engineering Environment (DEE) delivered to
the Government, to be instantiated virtually on the Governments
network infrastructure, and updated during the Engineering and
Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of weapon system
development.GDITs implementation of the Scaled Agile Framework
(SAFe) emphasizes understands the need for compliance, model-based
systems engineering (MBSE), and extensive traceability while
providing an agile, lean systems, iterative environment for product
development. On the DEE Program, this will be accomplished by
implementing the SAFe for Large Solutions model. This will progress
from Requirement, to Capability, to Feature, to Story, to
Release.Duties:
- Analyzing user needs to determine functional requirements for a
wide variety of projects
- Performing functional allocations to identify tasks and their
inter-relationships
- Researching, identifying and assisting in the formulation of
recommendations about resources required for task execution and
completion
- Participating in the development of new systems or updates to
existing systems to meet client needs
- Identifying and recommending emerging relevant technologies
that may result in improvements to current processes and
systems
- Writing and updating project documentation including system
procedures and training materials
- Conducting functional testing of various systems
- Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technologies and
subject areas
- Participating in special projects as required
- Coordinates with business and technology teams.
- Serves as a lead analyst providing expertise on continuous
process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change
management projects, and performance measures for complex and
multiple business process engagements
- Identifies and analyzes business needs, conducts requirements
gathering, and defines scope and objectives
- Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to
identifying and eliminating duplication, outsourcing opportunities,
streamlining, centralizing, business improvement processes,
manufacturing improvement processes, and/or vendor selection
- Uses quantitative analysis methodology to perform data, cost
and benefit, and/or process measurement analysisRequired Skills:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or other Scientific
Discipline
- 8+ or more years of experience managing Requirements Analysis
or Configuration Management effortsDesired Skills:
- Current Secret Clearance
- Experience with Business Process Modeling
- Experience with leading ALM and requirements tools such as
JIRA, DOORS, IBM JAZZ/RTC
- Masters level degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other
Scientific Discipline
- INCOSE certification
- SAFe Certification

is $144,000 - $216,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of
compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on
experience, geographic location and possibly contractual
requirements and could fall outside of this range.Our benefits
