Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a
2nd Shift Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a 2nd
Shift Quality Control Technician, you will be part of the Quality
Assurance Department supporting production and quality improvement
initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to
detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a commitment to
maintaining high standards of quality, which will align
successfully in the organization. Job Title: 2nd Shift Quality
Control Technician Location: Oil City, PA Pay Range: $16hr Shift:
2:30pm-11:00pm Monday through Friday and every other weekend What's
the Job? Audit, test, and measure finished goods to ensure
compliance with customer standards and company policies. Apply
statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and
product quality. Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at
established intervals for analysis. Perform process inspections
during molding, packaging, and loading to ensure adherence to
specifications. Communicate quality issues and out-of-specification
conditions to relevant personnel and shift leaders. What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of
related experience in quality control or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of basic statistics and metrology skills including
calibration. Good computer skills and ability to manage multiple
priorities effectively. Understanding of Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP) and quality operating systems. What's in it for me?
