Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,940 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry – New York Start Date: February 24, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Four 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) per week with every other weekend requirement. Contract length is 13 weeks with 24 hours of orientation. Highlights: Work in a 528-bed Magnet-recognized acute care teaching facility with advanced specialty programs Patient ratio of 1:5 with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams EPIC charting system experience required; EMR proficiency essential Care for adult and geriatric patient populations with focus on cardiac monitoring and telemetry Floating within skillset required; opportunities to expand clinical expertise Every other holiday availability needed; pre-approved time off requests available upon submission Requirements: Active New York Single State RN license (must be in hand prior to submission; NY is not a compact state) Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience EPIC charting system experience is mandatory Experience with 1:5 patient ratios preferred Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted Charge nurse experience preferred Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility Clinical Skills Required: Cardiac monitoring with telemetry interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Emergency response skills including use of Rapid Response and Code teams IV therapy and phlebotomy with peripheral line care and management Oxygen administration including nasal cannula, oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management Isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a prestigious Magnet-recognized teaching hospital that maintains affiliations with nationally recognized healthcare systems and offers specialized services through multiple institutes of excellence.
