Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 14 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Acute Care Job Details: • Work variable ICU schedule with day/night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Full-time position with day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage required • Must maintain current New York State registered professional nurse license • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (through RQI system during clinical orientation), NIHSS • Basic Coronary Care certification required within 6 months of hire • CPI certification required within 90 days of hire • Emergency Nurses Association certification recommended within 2 years • TNCC certification recommended within 2 years • Provide care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations • Demonstrate professional behavior consistent with Healing Environment principles • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional patient interactions • Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while promoting teamwork • Computer literacy required with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record experience preferred • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive intensive care unit providing critical care services to patients across all age groups.
